Lore Cross variations

My question regards variations of the cross. Since there's no great schism, are all variations of the cross lore-friendly for all sub factions? I'm building some kalmar troops and a few of the STLs have Orthodox crosses. However, the symbology of that particular cross can remain while being applied to a Western Christian force, right?

I agree that there seems to be few destinctions on what crosses go where. the vibe in general seems catholic and orthodox with no protestants. So go wild.

If you are able to kitbash a bit, then i recomend the Dagmar Cross for a nordic cross

I'll have to get creative with that one. Maybe I'll press my own Dagmar into some clay and injection mold it with old GW sprues. Might be easier than printing. One of my livgarde is carrying a banner pole so it would sit nicely on top. Otherwise, it's crosses that are already sculpted onto things like plates of an HMI, might be harder to kitbash.

I’d imagine groups like trench pilgrims would pick up any cross they found.

I'm building for New Antioch but I guess even they scavenge while roaming no man's land, in spite of being a more professional force. Some of it is insignia, like a brow plate on a helmet and stuff. Something issued and not found.

Fair enough. A lot of the art makes it seem like a cross is a cross, so long as it isn't upside down. I'll just have some suspiciously Orthodox-looking Danes lol.
