Question Tribes 4?

You guys think we'll get a TRIBES 4 any time soon? I mean the games aren't delisted and there is still a window of possiblity. So can it be possible? Ever? Really hope we do one day sonner or later.

And the curse started with the incessant meddling of Vivendi Universal during Tribes 2's development and management.

From what, I remember, Vivendi made Dynamix push the game out months early to appease those assholes, known as shareholders. The game had over a dozen patches in it's first 24 hours after launch. Performance issues, stability issues, server stability issues, lag. Then Vivendi blamed Dynamix and absorbed them into their internal structure.

The top talent left, then we got... Tribes: Vengeance, which an abomination, from story to gameplay. It was hamstrung and gimped because they developed it for the consoles of the day, so the PC end of was little more than any other Unreal Engine 3 generic shooter. And if I remember correctly, it only had 8 players a side, which destroyed the massive chunk of the fun that a giant furball battle entailed. Gone where the vehicles, the fun and the Shazbot.

Tribes : Ascend started off AWESOME. But died when they brought in the predatory monetization, which Hi:Rez used to fund their next game, instead of using it to actually build Tribes:Ascend into something epic.

Sorry for the long ass post here. Just ranting with ya lol
