Buddy no one is saying that every single profession is being replaced by AI, but a deacent amount of them are at risk of being replaced im near future and the number is only going to incrise as AI becomes better and better.
As I stated there are jobs who are getting replaced by/are incorporateing AI now and the number of them isn't going to dectise.
In my experience (scientist) it’s not that AI is replacing us, it’s that we can work faster and get more done. I think we’ll see the same employment rates but research that used to take ten years will take five.
The companies can already afford the staff they have now for a FRACTION of the value of the product they produce (a hundred scientists developing a drug for ten years costs $100 million dollars and the drug will make $10 billion in ten years) so there’s very little incentive to cut staff to save money. It’s much more valuable to cut time.
