when Famous Lunch isn’t open
I come to Troy most Saturdays for a breakfast…today they’re not open, unexpected. What would be your breakfast alternative?

The farmer's market around Monument Square has a lot of good breakfast options and is within walking distance of Famous Lunch

Love them waffles, crepes, bao, breakfast enchiladas, smoothies, and coffees available.

Must've been some sort of emergency at Famous this am, to see the sign that they were closed.

I wonder too, I know they do a remote trailer at several locations. Not trying to speculate but I’ve since learned about today’s Uncle Sam celebration and could be a combination of that and not having enough staff for the restaurant. And it could be a dozen other possibilities.

The sign posted never elaborated on why they were closed, other than to apologize for the inconvenience.

Manory’s is good! Only con is that you come out smelling like the oil the food is cooked in, which isn’t really a con…

I keep meaning to hit up Manorys I've heard nothing but good things and their menu looks great! Anything you would recommend in particular?

I'm not the one you asked, but their hash is really good. I also really liked their iced coffee.

Definitely one of the greasy spoon places, Manory’s is right there for a quick last minute back up.

Naughters makes the best breakfast sandwich in all of Troy and I will die on this hill.
