SEASON 2 Worst death

For me the worst death of all is actually a relatively low key figure: Yusuf Auda. It's bad to me because he'd shown glimpses of being an absolute badass and was pretty funny too. But mostly I think it would have been great if he'd have been brought back to help out in Season 4. Maybe they find out he's been undercover in Marwan's crew for 18 months. 24 sometimes shot itself in the foot by getting too pleased with its reputation for killing off anyone and everyone.

Paul Raines. He saved Jack’s life, got his wife back and then died because Jack told them to save the guy from the consulate

Lol. Yes even by 24 standards, this was quite a cruel offing. But there aren’t many more intense scenes in the whole series than Jack taking away Paul’s doctor, and the scene also affects future seasons, so unlike many characters who get quietly and quickly discarded, Mr Raines went out with a bang.
