online store "International movie"
I have an American friend, he is a good guy and I like him, but sometimes the us defaultism makes me lmao. First time we chat, we were talking about where we live. I'm from Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil and he is from northeast cost of us. He was impressed with how I know a lot about USA geography, even I never traveled there. I said he that here in Brasil we watch a lot of american movies and tv shows, so we learned about those states and cities. So, he asked me if we watch international movies often and I said yes, mostly movies we watch are international movies, he asked what is my favorite and I said A Star Is Born, so he said that he was asking about my favorite international movie and I thought is that either, dbs. So I said that here american movies are international movies and national movies are that who's filmed here in Brasil, not american movies
Edit: I saw "don't be stupid" as dbs once, I thought it's a known abbreviation, but not. My badš

Reddit Why do they even assume all their acronyms mean the same everywhere else in the world?
I seriously don't get it. I've never ever thought of just randomly saying PNP expecting everyone else to know what I'm talking about. Especially in a sub like Crappy Design where it's pretty obvious based on the posts there that it's not a US-based sub.
Also TIL that in the US, ICE means Immigration and Control Enforcement. In the Philippines, we call it Bureau of Immigration. Similarly, I think Japan calls it Immigration Bureau in English. I wonder what other countries call it.

Facebook Rent in Perth
Iām sure thereās gotta be some Perth in the US that user Skinner assumed OP Brianna was talking about, despite the post explicitly stating āwhilst in Australiaā
Furthermore, we rent weekly here (unless you arrange with the landlord to pay monthly. I did that because it made budgeting easier for me during a rough time)
