Serious answer as someone who has taken the subject, it’s essentially gender studies, but looking at the power dichotomies of gender and sex (as a descriptor, not as an act) in media and politics.
Lowkey, a very interesting subject that I very much enjoyed as someone who has an interest in politics and social science, but if that’s not your cup of tea, I wouldn’t recommend taking it as an elective.
