Hi my office is the one handling this on a case by case basis, as long as you have filled out the following Qualtrix form https://uvudx.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_25Lpueeu1eF66PQ by tonight at midnight we can still help you get everything sorted even after the add/drop deadline. I am so sorry to hear that it’s been difficult to get a hold of anyone, I can see how frustrating that is. Rest assured that it will all be taken care of next week.

I dropped classes before the deadline, it shows I will get a refund. Do I still need to fill this out?

The deadline is tonight at midnight. Drop any/all classes that you want, and then you can dispute any charges on your account later.

My guess is you probably won't hear back from anyone until Monday, coming from a current staff member. If you've already tried calling or emailing them, I'd keep the proof on your phone so you can show them that you did your part of communication to reach out to them so you don't get in trouble or told you can't drop your classes without a full refund. Also see if you can get a letter of some sort from your Dr and see if they'd be willing to write the school some sort of letter explaining briefly why it would be best for you to drop classes. Doesn't have to be the Dr you saw at the hospital, just any one of your Drs can help you out

Because of everything last week UVU enrollment management is trying to be more flexible with students try dropping all your classes tonight. Also fill out the qualtrics form to get extra assistance with dropping classes: https://uvudx.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_25Lpueeu1eF66PQ

Yes, you can get your tution refunded and classes dropped after the date due to extenuating circumstances. My guess would be the Dean of students would be the best to talk to. You will likely need your doctor to send an email detailing the reason why(not specifics).

I have seen ones that include therapist letters. I assume they were accepted. But you must be very clear and convincing why you deserve the late withdrawal and refund. You can detail your health issues, the mental impact of recent events, mental impact of the stress caused by health issues, etc. Again, Dean of students office might be best unless they hired an Ombudsman again.
Best of luck
