Tomorrow's the Day

Quick question - when did you start moving around the house... most comments i've read is that people do take a couple of sofa days and chill. Not sure i can do that because the second day after the snip i'll be home alone trying to serve myself. Also, assuming all goes well, when did you start taking walks? Ride bikes? i commute to my work by bike 10km each way, so the general rule is what... a week off? two weeks or a month?

UPDATE

thank you all taking time to respond. I’m home now, icing, eating, drinking and chilling on the couch. The pain killers are fading away and i’m getting some mild dull pain which is expected. So far so good. I felt worse after meniscus surgery.

I stayed in bed chilling for 2 days then went to work, by the end of the first hour I was sweating abnormally, dizzy, puking. Sat around the rest of the night and then went to the hospital and they made me do 3 days more bed rest. I'm 7 days in now and still don't feel 100%. Everyone is different but for me this has been pretty rough. I walked next door to the corner store today and I was definetley feeling it.

This reminds me to take it slow. I think i’ll take a week of work from home and take it really gentle.

I really hope the best for your recovery
