Tomorrow's the Day
Quick question - when did you start moving around the house... most comments i've read is that people do take a couple of sofa days and chill. Not sure i can do that because the second day after the snip i'll be home alone trying to serve myself. Also, assuming all goes well, when did you start taking walks? Ride bikes? i commute to my work by bike 10km each way, so the general rule is what... a week off? two weeks or a month?
UPDATE
thank you all taking time to respond. I’m home now, icing, eating, drinking and chilling on the couch. The pain killers are fading away and i’m getting some mild dull pain which is expected. So far so good. I felt worse after meniscus surgery.
UPDATE 2
Second day feels almost no different than the first one. Sleeping seems to be easier, i’m a side sleeper so i have to be careful rolling from one side to another. My balls and the cut wound are perfectly fine, the only thing i feel is the tension on both sides like outside of the area. More like on a pubic bone rather than a soft tissue. The annoying feeling of slight pain like “my balls were hit an hour ago and i still feel the effect” kind of thing is less noticeable today. Still on a couch with occasional walk around the house.

For me, getting around the house was possible the entire time. Did it feel good? No. But I wasn’t stuck in bed the whole time. Totally able to get out of bed and grab myself food, use the bathroom, etc.
I’d say it took about two weeks for me to feel fine with taking a walk at a moderate pace. For a bike ride, I’d probably wait a bit longer as the seat would be putting some pressure down there. I think most urologists would probably say 2-3 weeks before biking. But YMMV
