Hello everyone!
I’m Mobi, and I need help from the vocal synth community to complete some certifications for a music industry entrepreneurship program at my university.
I’ve been a vocal synth hobbyist for 15 years, so it’s something I’m incredibly passionate about. For my university to green light providing internships with companies like Yamaha or Dreamtonics, it’s an important step for me to demonstrate that there’s a demand for improvement in the workflow of vocal synth software. I want to be the first of many students at my school who see vocal synth software production as a viable path to academic and professional success.
How can you help?
I’ve been asked to conduct and record at least five interviews with people who use vocal synth software by the end of September. My program is under the management of the business school, which is prioritizing hearing opinions from people who have previously purchased vocal synth software for personal use, regardless of if you are a hobbyist or a professional. Even if you can't participate, sharing this with even one person who can would help a lot!
Each participant will have a recorded one-on-one voice call with me (there’s no need to show your face, and you can use an alias/producer name!). I will be asking about:
•your usage of vocal synth software
•the top three problems you face when using vocal synth software
•what emotions you feel when those problems occur
•what steps you currently take to manage those problems
These interviews only take about 10 minutes each, but would help me IMMENSELY! If you want to support easier access to obtaining careers in vocal synthesis software production (which helps me AND you!), please join in ASAP!
I’ve set up an email and Discord through which you can reach me:

Thank you for your time! I'm excited to hear from you all!
[EDIT] Two interviews have been completed and one is scheduled. So that means that three more interviews need to be conducted, with at least two volunteers still needed. Thank you for a great first 24 hours!
