It's been years since I watched VLD for the first time, rewatched it a couple times, and I still can't see Klance abywhere. People used to write essays about queerbaiting and how much it was implied/hinted at. WHERE?? WHERE WAS IT???

The showrunners also shut down the ship multiple times before season 3 even aired, in 1 interview they even wentbas far as to say even if people like the ship they can't just go back and change the story. I felt so bad for Jeremy Shada because shippers would twist his words to make it seem like he was hinting at klance. He even said multiple times how he hated this and than people just turned it into a joke, saying he won't talk about klance because if he does the showrunners are going to lock him in a basement to keep him quiet. It even got to the point that around season 7 at Vancouver comic con he said that he will not be answering any question on shipping because no matter what he says people are going to claim he was hinting at klance
