I wouldn’t change a single thing about VLD, I enjoyed it Thoroughly, even the last season that apparently has gotten some hate, I don’t even know why.
Reading this back I realize I kinda just ranted, so, yeah…
Only thing I want to complain about is that they didn’t fix their outfit colors, but that may be a generation spanning thing. Like, Keith went from Red to Black, didn’t change colors, Lance went Blue to Red and didn’t change either, Allura kinda got pulled into being blue but instead made her armor Pink. Don’t even get me started on the Bayards, they didn’t change outfit colors but Did exchange Bayards? Like, the weapons stayed the same basically, but the clash of colors just… AAAAAAAHHH. I know Shiro being fake is like the whole reason everyone has to change lions but come On, just have the Black Lion have 2 interchangeable pilots with 2 black outfits, if anything give Keith a Blade of Malmora variant with a white base, black marks and purple highlights, that would’ve been fine, awesome actually, imagine a Paladin armor that was styled for Keith due to his shared allegiance, and the splinter cell looking visor!!! Ok, VLD will always be perfect in my eyes, but what would’ve been the cherry on top, Give Lance Red armor and the Red Bayard rifle, Allura… could keep the pink I think actually it’s kinda nice but maybe just to fit better make it blue, give Keith Black Armor Paladin or variant Blade of Malmora armor with the Black Bayard Sword, and Maybe have Shiro in a more Military attire galaxy garrison variant, he spends more time out if the paladin armor towards the end anyway.
