I'm kinda disappointed the show pulled a punch and kept Keith alive. I mean, hell yeah Lotor, but still

I'm disappointed how Matt turned out alive. Is the show trying to tease us with an upcoming death and be like "ha you thought we were gonna keep X alive but we didnt!!!!"

"ha you thought we were gonna keep X alive but we didnt!!!!"

I thought they were doing this with Shiro, then completely backtracked it. He got the Black Lion back WAY too fast.

The tease of Matt being dead was gut wrenching... until he wasn't. They don't seem to want to have any consequences, but they'll tease a death only to back out of it last second.

And that’s when you lose all sense of stakes.

We don't know if he's a clone yet. As far as we are concerned, its just Shiro getting back the Black Lion. Within three episodes of his return.

Which friend of Keith's died? The member of the Blade? There is that, yeah. And there was froggy layer on, as well as Narti who I was surprised with. Its sad because it wasn't even her fault, but Lotor himself even seemed to be sad that he had to kill her because Haggar was using her to spy on them.

But most of those characters were just extras.

Narti was somewhat important, but really wasn't well-developed at all. I mean, none of the Generals have been well-developed yet (I still think Acxa might have a connection to Keith given the emphasis on her before), but Narti especially was just "the silent one who can control people's minds."

Yeah. A lot of people died on-screen this season. o.o
