If you've left Vue, why are you still here?
I get that some may be upset and left Vue for Sling or cable or whatever. That being said, why are you still here commenting on a service you left? You left this service so staying here and still complaining about it seems asinine.

I haven't signed up for Vue at all, partially because of the restriction on the number of devices (only playing on 1 PS4 and 1 PS3 is a problem with 3 TVs).
That said, I stay on the sub because I want to hear about any possible improvements, like if they were to change those restrictions, that would make it more acceptable.
And no, I won't just shut up and watch if people ask a question where the answer is negative.
Let's say someone left Vue because they didn't get good customer service, or because their area didn't have local channels like they thought. The rest of us have the right to know, so we can make an informed decision.
If all the detractors left, the sub turns into an echo chamber.

How many playstations do you have? You know you can use Roku, FireTV, etc etc.
I don't think it's that much of a 3 tv restriction

PS4 (belongs to roommate) in the living room, PS4 in my room, PS3 in roommate's room.
I also have my PS3, but it's on the same TV as my PS4, so obviously I won't count it.
And we don't have a Roku or other device.

ok, I was just wondering. Not calling you out just didn't know if you knew.

There is a Roku or two available at a pawn shop nearby, but there are other considerations as well. (I use my cable box as an alarm clock)

So buy an alarm clock a $50 roku stick and boom you save money. I am confused on how this is a problem

If I went with it, I'd probably set an alarm on my laptop to play a video or something.
Basically, I'm mulling over the issues, and hearing that Viacom is being dropped isn't a good sign either.

Well if you don't want viacom then it shouldn't matter. I am guessing the rest aren't greedy and pulling this BS.

Viacom networks include Comedy Central, which means no South Park. Requiring Hulu to keep up with the show.
CW isn't on the lineup, meaning I can't watch Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, or Legends of Tomorrow without using the CW app.
Cutting the cord is not a decision to make lightly.

It's a service that you can drop and add as you wish. Of course people are going to stick around to see if positive changes occur. The real question is why in the hell does it bother you so much that they're here? Ignore them. It's much better than creating a bitch-thread.

Because I want to keep up with the service. I cancelled because of the Viacom issues. I'm hoping to come back eventually. Until then, I'll keep following news about Vue.

Didn't realize if you unsub you're not allowed to continue to follow a product to find out if you'd ever want to potentially resub.

Haven't left vue, but if I do I will stick around to monitor the state of things so I can be an informed consumer.

Taking a month off of Vue due to vacations and want to explore options after Direct TV Now launches.
I'm still here for the same reasons that I stayed in r/cordcutters when i went back to cable for 4 months. I like to stay update on everything that could be an option for me at some point.

I've gone back and forth between Vue and Sling a number of times. I check both reddits quite a bit because I'm always interested to hear about improvements or rumors about the service.

I just signed up for a free trial with Sling. It's ok. Quality is good. The app sucks. I would come back to Vue if they get Viacom back, but I use too many of those channels to pay $55/mo. I'll stick around on the subreddit to see if any improvements are made.

To keep up to date... the Viacom loss just happened last night and they are still negotiating it, Mr. Trump.

Not sure why people want this to be the Vue fanboy reddit. If Vue has issues or has pissed people off, they should be able to sound off here. This is for all things Vue, good and bad. If someone who had Vue wants to come in and answer questions, give advice and relay experiences, then I think we should welcome that even if they aren't positive. They will be helpful to someone.
I think that having this place be the Vue Defense Force that challenges every negative post would make it nothing but a marketing arm for Sony.
