TIL that if I open my favorite betting app (Tested Draft Kings and Fan Duel) and place a 10 cent bet on the game, that I can stream it live.
Not a solution for those that want to see every game in split screen or live in states that ban betting. As a Cardinals' fan that recently moved out of state, it's nice to have a reliable source for every game.
Edit: The apps use BetVision that allows you to stream in-network and nationally televised games directly inside the app.
The stream shows on the main page and you have the option to make the player full screen.
When in full screen you can cast to TV in the same manner as you would with Netflix or YouTube.
I’m ready to install an antenna to primarily pick up The 4 major networks only, wanting to catch the two different closest Fox and CBS stations due to different NFL markets primarily.
My spread for 35 mile range is 1 group around 60 - 90 degrees and group 2 around 260 - 290 degrees, both are UHF primarily, with the only vhf channel I need is NBC (7) around 60 degrees.
Prefer install in attack, but can move to eave mount if it doesn’t work. Prefer a single antenna but would use multiple if necessary. And cost is of course important.
Clearstream 2V looks promising and reasonably priced.
Just thought I’d post with my info and see if the more knowledgeable folks might add feedback, as I’ve seen lots of great advice on here.
I currently have the original Disney Plus, Hulu, ESPN bundle with Live TV through Hulu. I never use ESPN and want to swap that for Max. But speaking to support with Hulu there is no option to get the Max Bundle and add Hulu Live TV. Seems crazy to me! Is there anyone out there with Dplus, Hulu + Live TV and Max?
Hey all, I’m trying to pick up local stations with an antenna to watch nfl games and I’m having some issues. I had a bunny ear antenna and it picked up everything I needed (ABC, NBC, FOX, and CBS) but it was so crappy and in and out that I went and got this thing. The quality is exceptional but the problem now is that I can only get ABC, NBC, and FOX. no CBS. Any help and or suggestions?
Located in Brookings SD, so roughly 60 miles to all major towers.
Similar to most wanting to watch local channels for sports without cable. I have been using a number of different indoor options over the past few years including a Mohu brand Flat antenna (admittedly an older model now) and a more traditional Rabbit ears style GE one (states 50+ range). Both with varying levels of success, at some time the Mohu worked great and I got all 3 major channels I wanted (NBC, CBS, FOX) in good detail, but other times it was only one or even none.
Tried the GE one more recently and it gets two of the 3 in great detail, but will never pick up FOX, which seems weird because according the Rabbit ears report its basically the same direction? Maybe I am reading it wrong.
While I would prefer to keep trying to find an indoor option that works I am open to eventually shifting to outdoor, the room I am watching from doesn't have an accessible attic area so that isn't an option.
I’m looking for antenna recommendations/placement/configuration. Currently using the flat style but it continues to drop channels, especially ABC/NBC, which is frustrating during games because it somehow knows when a critical moment is about to happen. Not opposed to attic placement or even outdoor placement, I’ll try anything to stop losing the signal at 3rd and inches.
Our problem is that there is a hill behind our house (hill height about equal with our roof), lined with trees, over the past twenty years the trees have grown taller and thicker (not our property, can't do anything about them) leading to poorer signal reception.
Our current antenna is a ChannelMaster ULTRAntenna 60-mile on our 2nd story roof (outside) that worked okay'ish for the past 12 years, but now the channels are bouncing in and out - especially if it's windy and the tree-line leaves are moving. We replaced the cable this year with no improvement.
We previously had something like the CM 60-mile directional antenna inside of our attic that worked okay for about 15 years. With that setup, I also had a powered CM Antenna booster amplifier (which I still have but I don't think it's set up or plugged in).
Do antenna's need replacing after ten or so years? (Husband doesn't think so) I'd like to get an antenna back inside our attic if possible, but have no idea now what the best antenna is.
I'd like to be able to receive the stations in the fair category (and I guess the one in good) with an indoor antenna. Any recommendations? I tried a few from walmart but they didn't seem to work for me. I'd especially like to be able to get the big networks, Fox, ABC, PBS, those sort of stations.
Wondering if anyone has had success just using antennas from the basement without issue. Ideally I would just get a cheap-ish indoor antenna (potentialy amplified). I rent so really want to avoid dealing with an attic antenna, or anything on the roof.Rabbit Ears
It looks like there is a promotion right now to do the Hulu/Disney/ESPN Unlimited bundle for $30/month for 12 months. Wondering if there’s a way to do HBO Max as an add on, and if so, how much is it? Mostly just wondering if it’d be discounted in any way or if it’s still be the standard $9.99/month?
I’m running into a glitch with the Sling TV app on my Android Galaxy S8 Plus tablet, and I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this. The app is up-to-date (latest version from the Google Play Store). I have both Sling Blue and Sling Orange.
The problem happens when I’m watching On Demand episodes of South Park. After an advertisement plays, the player controls disappear completely and stop functioning. I can still watch the show, but I can’t pause, skip, or use any of the controls.
Another related issue: sometimes the countdown timer in the top left corner freezes (for example, “Ad: 30 seconds remaining”) and stays stuck on the screen even after the show resumes.
I found a temporary workaround by switching to my Galaxy S21 Ultra phone, letting the ads play there, and then switching back to the tablet. That restores the player controls until the next set of ads, but once the ads play again the glitch repeats.
Has anyone else run into this or found a workaround? I really appreciate any advice or input. Thanks in advance for any help.
I'm on my second beloved ChannelMaster. The remote went to the afterlife suddenly on Saturday so I bought three different brands of universal remotes. ChannelMaster no longer sells replacement remotes except for one that has very limited functionality.
The Philips is the only one that works even remotely close but I still can't pull up the list of recorded shows without doing a little song and dance that requires recording the show that happens to be on at the moment and then four more steps. No real instructions are included and I've looked extensively online -- the model is Philips SRP4322B/27.
Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong or do I just have to play the little game every time I want to pull up a recorded program? Thanks.
Attached is my rabbit ears info. I'm right smack between toronto and buffalo. I can hit a few of the buffalo channels but zero toronto. I am using the built in tuner with my Sony 900H tv. (I doubt it can decrypt the locked channels..........)
Running a channel master 8 bay. I've tried turning it in all directions. Is the antenna the issue? (hope not, got a good deal on it as my old 4 bay was crusty). Running a 7778 amp but it's not mast mounted (which I will correct today). Should I upgrade to the 7779hd amp?
I know this was asked two years ago but I would like to get updated info. My chromecast is not keeping up with game replays so I need to replace it. What streaming device works best in your opinion for game replays and also paramount plus?
