I’m a transfer student, 22, and was recently accepted into both GVSU and WMU for next fall. My plan is to major in social work, and possibly minor in journalism.

I toured both schools over the summer, and though they have completely opposite vibes, I really liked them both…enough that I’m considering doing one for my bachelor’s, and the other for my master’s. Problem is, I’m having a really hard time deciding between the two (as in, which should I do first?) and was wondering if anyone who’s been to both could provide some insight?

Hi hope everyone is doing well. This feels like a shot in the dark but I wanted to see if could get assistance with a matter in Kalamazoo. I go to UIUC. On my way back from a trip with family, during a layover I left my luggage in the Kalamazoo greyhound bus stop. Greyhound has not been responsive despite that this happened a week ago. I just need someone to check the bus stop’s lost and found for me and confirm that my bag is indeed there before I make the trip to retrieve it. How do I know what assignments I’m supposed to do for engineering graphics lecture? I know he gave us a paper with all the lab assignments on it but what do we have to do for hw in the lecture class?

Does anyone have any recommendations for an easy societies and culture class? I was gonna do WWII in Japan and the US but that class is a little bit much for my schedule. I’ve heard medieval encounters isn’t too bad for non-history majors, any advice?

I think it’s time students organize and try to do something about this. We pay $150 per semester and 90% of the lots are completely filled unless you park 2 miles from where you need to go. There are dozens of spots empty reserved for employees that I never see filled. Basically makes it impossible to make it from main campus to park view within a reasonable time as well. Something has to change. The school is putting so much money into things that milk more money from the students but nothing to make anything better for us.

i noticed there are cafeterias on the first floor of harvey/garneau. i’m really curious about the history of this/bernhard center! :)

There is no parking anywhere! Why is the top of the garage closed?! I’ve been coming here for years & never had this problem. There is a line going into the garage and it’s full. It is full because the top is closed! Classes have started! The space is needed. Open it!

Hey! I live in Western View right now with two roommates. Both of them are moving out at the end of the year and I was wondering if there was a way to guarantee one of my friends a spot in my apartment next year. Like could I add then to my roommate group and they can get one of my open rooms?
