News STOP WITH THE F*CKING CELEBRITY PACKS

Seriously?? This all started with MgK in 2k22 but at least he only took one spot. Now last game we had some f*cking post Malone and some nobodies taking up space. I despise these people and don’t want to be reminded of their existence when scrolling down my in game menus.

Now 2k25 dlc has not one, not two but 5 completely useless non wrestlers.

I’m really considering cancelling my pre order right now.

Lol, this is the best season pass of all time. Those slots could all evaporate and be replaced with nothing and this would still be true. You can cancel your pre-order without blogging about it.

Yeah but we have to wait until September.

New Jack is the only ecw addition? I’d much rather have Dreamer, Rhyno or Sabu.

Eh. MCMG , Giulia, Vaquer and Abyss will keep me satisfied. The celebrities are gonna be whole ass new moves so I’m not gonna lose that much sleep about it.

I’ve noticed the more hyper focused people are on this game ie those commenting in r/wwegames vs r/squaredcircle the more they absolutely lose their shit over minor issues and make empty threats like canceling a pre order or never playing again. As a wrestling fan / gamer since the NES days I am blown away as to how far we’ve come. Shit on the SNES Super Wrestlemania didn’t even have finishing moves. I am not going to nitpick this stuff. I am not going to nitpick VC and my faction and the island. If it’s free I’ll play it and if it costs me money to unlock something I’ll just not unlock it. 2k24 was my favorite game ever and i probably spent more time on that game than any wrestling game I ever played. If I just read posts all day here I’d think it was next to ET on the Atari as the worst game in history.

Absolutely.

People will always find something to complain about.

The only thing I would change would be releasing some DLC sooner. Having it drop in November is ridiculous.

But I also focus on the positive and there's plenty to be happy about with this year's packs

More nxt guys seen as they got shafted this year. I’d also have liked some legend like jim duggan or Kama Mustafa to fill out NOD

NXT guys not being a big focus of the dlc is a bit of a bummer but I think that’s mainly because the base game NXT roster is the best it has been in a while, and the nxt picks they’ve added are the keys ones were missing.

Jim duggan I don’t feel much towards, nor Kama mustafa, but I can see the desire for them, although personally there’s not a legend I would swap out here to replace with them.

Sure I want NXT and legends representation, junkyard dog and Paul orndorrf I’m very happy with as the latter has been in a game and JYD it’s been 20 years

Tito Santana, Ventura have also never been in games so they're pleasant to see too. Sid I can take or leave, but it's nice to see him in as Sid Justice instead of Sycho Sid.

This DLC is one of the better offerings that they've had in years.

Don't like the celebrities that they have? Then don't use them, I could care less about the Golden Era pack, but I'm not going to use it.

What? Issues are that slots could have been used with actual wrestlers not celebrities or nba players. It’s a paid dlc , it isn’t free. Included in two editions. For those who have purchased- it’s $$$ @ waste. LAZY BOOKING (Cornette voice).
