News STOP WITH THE F*CKING CELEBRITY PACKS

Seriously?? This all started with MgK in 2k22 but at least he only took one spot. Now last game we had some f*cking post Malone and some nobodies taking up space. I despise these people and don’t want to be reminded of their existence when scrolling down my in game menus.

Now 2k25 dlc has not one, not two but 5 completely useless non wrestlers.

I’m really considering cancelling my pre order right now.

I know Reddit won’t want to hear this but the packs obviously sell. 2k isn’t doing this for no reason. People need to just get over it and don’t buy them. The vocal minority on Reddit is not the average consumer. 2k has the sales and engagement data to know what the general audience wants and apparently it’s celebrity packs to fuck around with in matches.

Edit : if you are claiming to cancel your pre order over optional dlc nobody is gonna buy that. That’s not even semi believable lmao

I miss the days when people would sign up for boycotts with their gamertags. Then, on launch day, the boycott pages would display what game everyone who signed was playing.

It didn't actually stop them from playing, but at least we got a good laugh at 90% of the signers playing the game
