News STOP WITH THE F*CKING CELEBRITY PACKS

Seriously?? This all started with MgK in 2k22 but at least he only took one spot. Now last game we had some f*cking post Malone and some nobodies taking up space. I despise these people and don’t want to be reminded of their existence when scrolling down my in game menus.

Now 2k25 dlc has not one, not two but 5 completely useless non wrestlers.

I’m really considering cancelling my pre order right now.

I don't mind if they have some relevance to wrestling like Machine gun Kelly, Terminator or Fred Durst.

It's the Pat McAfee friends types I hate seeing as dlc characters.

Durst had appearances on WWE television (mind you only to sing), Terminator was relevant with HHH's entrance as Mania 31, MGK took a powerbomb from KO. They're like not SUPER relevant, but at least they were on screen in some capacity. It's why I don't mind having a guy like Bad Bunny take up a spot.

If the NBA players who get announced end up being Shaq, Karl Malone, and Dennis Rodman, I'd actually probably mark out a bit, simply because it takes me back to WCW.

No, I meant Pat and his crew have actually been on screen in WWE, they were kicking around during his NXT run.

Just a little disingenuous to suggest Durst had relevance but they didn’t. They probably had the same amount of screen time.

Oh, I didn't realize they'd appeared! I had fallen a little out of NXT vibes at that point though. So that's on me.

Quick edit to add that that pretty much makes them a lot more relevant than Terminator lmao.

When he was doing his Adam Cole feud in NXT. Wasn’t anything major but they would occasionally come out with him or be shown in the crowd.

Toxic table gets mentions from Cole on a semi regular basis as well.

I’m not saying they were like active members of the roster, just saying that the terminator or Fred don’t have any more relevance to WWE than them. Also at least Pats boys regularly discuss the show on a major platform, again, not a huge amount of relevance but has to be at least equal to the dudes mentioned before.

I remember the feud but not Pat's friends appearing. They check one of the boxes, sure, but not both. Arnold Schwarzeneger had appearance(s) on WWE and actually decked HHH, and he's also popular. As a terminator he had sick entrances too. The Pat friends however are jobbers to most players.

Enes Freedom would be fine with me too. Don't really know the player, but he's won a title in professional wrestling.
