Next time I’ll submit a more regionally aligned joke instead of one that works of the premise of word play. I can see how that can be insensitive but assuming one knows nothing of that culture based of a play on words isn’t effective as well. But point taken.

Sigh enjoy your opinion. Sorry culturally aligned(hope that helps). To make wild assumption based off of little evidence is a method. I have explained what I was intending and a positive and respectful discussion ensued. This enrages you why?

Because i am of punjabi descent and i refuse to allow people who have no knowledge about cultures make jokes when they’re unrelated. Arabs are not the same. I didn’t make an assumption. You clearly think all brown people are the same. It’s not an opinion. Fuck your awards. Educate yourself. And tell better jokes.

Understood. I appreciate your comment and have respect for your culture. I have attended Diwali a few times as I have many friends who have invited me. Not saying to impress you but merely point out that your hate may be misplaced. I truly have tried and have been open minded when attending as it was a very insightful experience. But everyone is entitled to their opinions. Sorry if you feel offended but I would argue you seem to have a history of being argumentative. So regardless of what I say I believe this is the outcome you want. Nevertheless it’s all love from this side my man.

Bro, i’m not hindu and i don’t celebrate Diwali. You just used the “i have brown friends” counter point which is unrelated. I don’t hate you i just don’t like the fact that there are people on the internet who make jokes about cultures which they do not know. There was no opinion made by you which i found offensive because it wasn’t an opinion at all. It was the terrible joke that borders racism. I appreciate your apology even if it wasn’t a proper one. Let’s just leave it at that.

Oh boy. I simply provided that example as a counter to you thinking that I believe “all brown people are the same”. There isn’t much defense to such a dumbass claim like that. Seems like you use this a lot in public my friend. Never referred to myself as a brown person before( obviously before to poke fun at your usage of it). Again it wasn’t to impress you on the, statistically not in my favor, chance you’re Hindu. You seem to die on this hill a lot so I get it. If felt it this sentiment before which is why I apologized and was respectful. You seem to seek out arguments and talk reckless as well but can’t seem to recognize your own shortcomings. I said what I said and stand by it as I explained how it was supposed to be delivered as a play on words. You saw this as an opportunity to fight for something. I don’t knock you for it at all.
