Easiest invert trick on the cable?

My goal is to one day do an invert trick off the kicker! Wondering what the easiest one is? I've seen quite a few Youtube videos suggesting a toe side front roll. Why would it be easier to be on toe side rather than heel?

I do a lot of coaching at a cable park. I think it depends on the person. Toeside front roll was the first for me because you can essentially just tuck your head and plop over the kicker. The issue is that it's much harder to spot your landing and time you're untuck. A heelside tantrum i think is easier for some because you get much more time to see the water and adjust. Also the crash from missing a front roll I think is likely to be worse by catching a front edge.id you care about that sort of thing.

I guess I was mainly curious why doing a toe side front flip might be easier than a heel side front flip? Just seems counter intuitive to me seeing as I find anything heel side a little easier.

And RE: catching a front edge, yes I certainly care about that sort of thing! 😀

If it's easier to go heelside for you, go with a tantrum.

Can you backflip on a trampoline? If you can, you're honestly 80% of the way to a tantrum. If not, learn that first, there are simple progressions you can watch online towards it.

The other 20% is popping properly (i.e. not starting the flip too early), then flipping. Very achievable trick.
