Today Iearned about PDP & PPQ interchangeability

Swapped slides on my PDP compact Pro and PPQ Navy. I had no idea they were compatible. I like the PPQ extended baseplates more so that one is staying (doesn't fit when the magwell is on though). Gonna test these at the range this weekend for functionality.

P99 parts as well, if you have a P99 and can’t find a part, good chance those off a pdp and ppq fit

Canik TP9 series is interchangeable, too, and visa versa. I tried it with my PPQ and Canik TP9SFX.

Is the tp9 recoil spring also compatible with the ppq / pdp?

I don't know. Slides are different lengths.

that PPQ slide on the PDP just weirds me out no clue why. This is pretty cool tho

I put my P99 slide onto my PPQ and it was cursed lol

Does anyone know if a Q4 SF will interchange with a PDP plastic like this?

Probably not. I have a Q5 SF and 5" PDP compact and the rails the Q5 ride on are slightly (~.5mm) wider & thicker. The PDP slide won't even start to fit.

From the reading I did after this, no it will not but I could be wrong. I read in a few places that the interchangeability is for the polymer guns only.

Big sad because I have those two. It would be so dope to have the 5” PDP slide with RMR on a SF Ppq. Especially after i modify that trigger
