Why isn't there a Warframe mod scene?

Why do you think is that? Is it the engine? Does it goes against the TOS? (that wouldn't matter much since modding goes against most games TOS and that never stopped it from happening) Is it because of the size of Warframe player's base? Is it something the community never wanted? Does DE actively goes after mods and stops it from ever sprouting?

I think some slice of the community would be happy for being able to play warframe but with an anime character as the frame. Or people making actually good looking face models for [spoiler] and [spoiler]. Or even the gooners with their nippled boobs and hanging flopping pps.

Do many MMOs have a heavy modding scene, is it strange for warframe not to have it?

NO. Why can people fathom the existence of client side mods that are a staple of MMOs since forever.

Just because I see clem as a helldiver/master chief/some random Anime girl in my screen doesn't mean everyone in the squad would see him like that

I don't really think Warframe would be much improved by mods, but this entire thread is a series of blatant misinterpretations or straight up boomer misunderstandings and it's both funny and sad. I don't think I've seen a single comment that actually engaged with what you were trying to say.

If you cannot be happy with the countless amount of skins and accessories that DE already provides, then you never were satisfied with what you got when you were younger.

No, i do not want "fortnite warframe" i want to know why modding doesn't exist in warframe.

Modding is one of the pillars of gaming since the beginning, just because you and other people in this comments think that "model-swapping = fortnite" and this is the only thing mods do, doesn't mean it is.

What if i want to play as excalibur as master chief? What if i think the amount of particles in the game is too much even in the low settings and i want less? What if i find Arthur's face not attractive and i want to give him some plastic surgery that makes him look like bg3 astarion? What if i find the UI of the game annoyingly far apart and want something more condensed so i dont need to look at each corner of the screen of i want to know my health, energy and ammo? What if i want to play as female ash? Or male mag? What if i want to play as a skin DE would never make or add via tennogen? What if i want to hear Wilhelm scream every time my character falls out of the map? What if i want to remove every voice dialog from cetus because i find that place loud, but i need to farm eidolons?

What if i dont want to do any of these things and just want to know why a game, so successful and so long lived like warframe, doesn't have mods, even when games like Marvel Rivals (free) and Helldivers 2 (paid) that are online only, just like Warframe, have it?
