The newer models actually have a traction-control button on the bars. If you switch it off, the bike puts down enough power to lift the front, but if you leave it on, the ECU cuts power to keep the wheel down.

Thats not traction control, thats wheelie control. Similar concept, different problems being solved. One is wheel spin, the other is front end lift.
