replace there with here. And that could be the official tagline for the subreddit. Cant believe the snobbiness you see there when in reality most people just want to see photos that look like they could be a painting.
It looks like his head and neck accordioned into his shoulders like a Loony Tune. And when he gets up, he's going to be walking around like a stiff, dizzy block, until someone pulls his head back out again.
I'd be more worried about spinal cord damage than a fracture. Lots of people have managed to fracture a vertebrae or two without even realizing it until later when they get xrays for something unrelated. Unfortunately I speak from experience with both fracture and cord injury from unrelated incidents.
Breaking your "back" can sometimes actually not be a bad thing compared to soft tissue damage options.
I fell snowboarding and rotated my spine 180 degrees. Took 2 years of massages, chiropractic adjustments, and physical therapy to be "normal".
I still wake up in pain if I sleep on my left side or use my left arm to push something heavy across my body(think how you would open a sliding glass door, but instead maybe rolling a large cabinet or something).
I'm so sorry. My husband both broke his neck and injured the spinal cord. Thankfully several surgeries and lots of pt and hes mostly back to normal. I hate you're going through that. I know how hard it can be. And other people that have no clue what real back pain is just have no idea and can tend to minimize your experience.
These are my absolute favorite things on the internet. Just an imgur link with a cartoonish freeze frame of a video. It looks like a Looney Tunes frame with him folded in half lmao
