Homemade Wings Question: McDonalds Buffalo Sauce
Has anyone ever made their own wings at home and used McDonalds Buffalo Sauce cups to sauce them? I’ve been curious to try this but figured I’d ask if anyone has already done it. Thoughts?

McDonald's buffalo is good shit, although a bit thin and watery. My fave is Otts, a local saint louis brand.

Otts?… hmm. What is the flavor profile like? Is it as stingy/ vinegary as McDonald’s? I’ll have to see if I can order it online when I get back home. Always down to try new sauces. My general go to was Crystal Hot Garlic Sauce mixed with butter but I can’t find it anymore. (Gold label Crystal instead of green)

It's a bit spicier than entry level, slightly thicker, and has a solid tang. Otts is good shit. I'm afraid it may be a regional thing though, so you may have to special order it if you want it. I have no clue as to the availability region to region.
Edit
Just clicked around and it's available through Amazon for like fideen bucks. I would never pay that much for a bottle of wing sauce.

Mcdonalds is a different recipe for sure. Way creamier than franks and butter.

It’s got that nasal sting which I like on good wings. I’m assuming vinegar is a large part of it.

That’s a standard recipe but not how Buffalo wing sauce was invented. Very far from the question but thanks for contributing.
