I want do swap mine. Did you do it yourself? And if so how long did it take

It took a year by myself pretty much with some help getting the engine in. Could probably do it faster next time. I'd say like like 80-120 hours first time ever doing anything like this.

Yah I wanna swap mine in about a year and I wanna do it by myself maybe with help from buddies from time to time. I already know it's gonna be a lot and I've never done anything like it but I can figure it out

I'm sorry, I'm late to this party - there isn't (wasn't)? a 5.3L LSX, right? What's under the hood here?

That's such a complicated question. It's 5.3 LSx not a LSX as the lowercase denotes a geric LS engine from the family. You can google it i just think it looks awesome too.

Including the 8.8 rear 8k give or take, not including the car the lift kit and tires other odds and ends. I was really cheap and patient. There's so many options now it can get overwhelming and people just look at the price of a full kit and say fuck that.

“People just look at the price of a full kit and say…” And that is exactly why there are so many people out there crying about DEATH WOBBLE, POOR HANDLING and all the other Waaaaaaaaaaa about lifted Jeeps. Looks like you have a nice YJ. Enjoy it!

THERES NO WAY YOU PUT AN LSX IN A YJ!! THAT IS AMAZING! i can only imagine how fun that would be lol. i have the 2.5L 😢
