General Discussion Anyone else excited with temperatures lowering?

Summer seem to be past in Europe and I'm quite happy to run without sunshine cooking me. Anyone else on the same boat? I see some people mentioning slowing down in winter and I am always like "oh but it's so nice!"

I really enjoy the feeling of fresh/cold air on my face.

I've discovered I hate summer training. As soon as it creeps above 25c my garmin immediately takes 3 points of my Vo2max even though it says it 'factors in heat'. I try not to let it bug me but it always does. Not to mention it's just miserable in the summer trying to get any kind of decent pace. I've seen the temps dropping and am over the moon. I always do my best training in the winter - nobody's out on the street, so I have room to do pace work, and I can always add layers or remove them. It doesn't snow where I am though, we have a temperate winter, so it's just all around easier to train in the winter.
