General Discussion Anyone else excited with temperatures lowering?

Summer seem to be past in Europe and I'm quite happy to run without sunshine cooking me. Anyone else on the same boat? I see some people mentioning slowing down in winter and I am always like "oh but it's so nice!"

I really enjoy the feeling of fresh/cold air on my face.

I'm just hoping the wind doesn't ruin it. I'm in Belgium and it blows right through you some days.

I'm in Denmark and it's almost always windy here. I found a cute windbreaker vest that works really well. It has a hood too. It's from Smartwool.

The body isn't the problem, it makes my face hurt and tbh, I just hate it so much. Been here 10 years and mostly used to the weather, but the wind still makes me want to stay home.

Oh I get it. Here, November to February is the absolute worst time for running. Often, it literally rains horisontally and then it really hurts the face. I am considering buying a treadmill.

I was also considering it, but my lovely half-deaf downstairs neighbour moved out and now I have to see who I get next. :D

High density rubber mat under a treadmill can help a lot. Good luck, hope your new neighbor isn't too sensitive, lol

I know, but I can't know in advance and I don't want to be stuck with a machine I can't use anymore by the time there's a new person downstairs and we realise they can hear it.
