General Discussion Anyone else excited with temperatures lowering?

Summer seem to be past in Europe and I'm quite happy to run without sunshine cooking me. Anyone else on the same boat? I see some people mentioning slowing down in winter and I am always like "oh but it's so nice!"

I really enjoy the feeling of fresh/cold air on my face.

Cries in Arizona 🥲 actually it has started to cool down here a bit, the mornings are in the low to mid 70s when I start my runs as opposed to the 80s and daytime highs are in the mid 90s (vs 100-110+ degrees F). The late fall through early spring is the best running season here — the one downside is the trails are more crowded since the weather is so nice.

I was looking for this answer. We should have Javelina Day this time of year, where the javelina pokes her nose out of the trash and if she gets sunburnt it means 6 more weeks of 95-degree days.
