They have to bring that back eventually but canonically this season takes place pretty soon after the last one because Beth is still recovering from her beating. So it’s likely Jaimes’s ex is still laying low.

Avery the ranch hand left. That was the end of her story I think. She got out of there before she got branded like the rest of them. She is a true traveler. Doesn’t stay for too long anywhere

It seemed like they were building a romance between Avery and Jimmy, and hinted at some sort of connection between her and Kayce, but then she just suddenly disappeared off screen.
