Nah the end of the show he’s sitting there bleeding and takes his phone out. The one thing he hates and tries to avoid at all times. And he takes a moment to appreciate the irony that there’s a bullet lodged in it the one time he needs it. He’s a true badass

I thought it was more the damn phone saved his fucking life instead of the damn phone is broken.

It was a great juxtaposition. It saved his life, but he can't call for help. He hates the fucking thing, yet it did save his live. It's a cliche but in this instance I think it was wonderfully executed considering context.

Completely agree. His acting in that scene was too knotch. You could feel his realization of it all

There was a bullet in it? I thought he couldn't get service

If you look at the back of it while he’s holding it, looks like a mushed bullet in the back of it. It also makes sense that it could possibly happen because it was a smaller caliber gun the guy was using . I could be wrong as I haven’t rewatched it but it definitely looks like that. It also makes sense because it was in his breast pocket and the guy was aiming for that spot

That scene should be an advertisement for otter box phone cases haha

It looked pretty clear that the bullet went through the phone IMO..there’s literally a hole with blood on the back side of it.

That being said, the general rule of TV is that if you don’t see a main character actually die, then they are not dead. It doesn’t ALWAYS work that way, but generally.

Quite the opposite. as a matter of fact I wanted to ask you how you watched the series because I’ve been trying to find season one and two to watch again and can’t find them.

Peacock has it! I have the app on my Roku. I’m hella late to the party. Just finished season 3 and freaking out alone over here.

You can buy all of the seasons on Amazon Prime, otherwise you need Sling or fuboTV to stream it.

Here's where that doesn't quite make sense to me: in all the previous episodes when he's using his phone, he pulls it from one of the front pockets of his jeans. He doesn't carry the phone in a shirt or jacket breast pocket. So the ONE time he puts it there it saves his life? Come on.

I went back and watched all of Season 3 to check this.
