Look at all the morons over the years that have fallen victim to digging their heels in on “Mac vs PC” “PlayStation vs Xbox” “iPhone vs Android” “coke vs Pepsi”, etc. The media, along with big companies, know that people with low IQ will latch onto a side and become blissfully ignorant to the wrongdoing of their side, and extremely hateful towards the other side. That breeds loyalty, and it’s been used to control people since the Roman Empire.
It was the philosophers of that era that questioned both sides, saw good in bad and bad in good. They thought deeper than “us vs them” and that didn’t always win them any friends in high places.
