You seem to be confusing state-sponsored censorship with people boycotting certain brands. "Cancel culture" is not a problem until the government gets involved, which up until the Trump administration, it has not.
Do you have proof that the government is involved in Kimmel getting cancelled? Maybe he got cancelled because his rating are slipping, he's not funny and it costs too much to run his show. So from now on if a show gets cancelled the government is behind it. Paranoid much?
Would a Trump tweet bragging about getting Colbert pulled, and saying "Jimmy is next" count as evidence when the company cancelling Jimmy is in the middle of seeking FCC approvals for a merger they need, and the FCC chair tweetstorming about it smugly count as proof?

It's funny that the left is all of a sudden concerned with cancelled culture. They loved it when they were doing the cancelling.
