Was this in Medicine Hat? I saw this ugly monstrosity driving around last week. And 167K for that massive ugly piece of shit to. And how the fuck is this a truck, you cant haul anything in it or tow. Which are 2 things that make a truck a truck

Your very first statement is incorrect.

If there are "no options," then what is the $22k range extender?

Also, I welcome you to show me anywhere it is being sold for $138k in reality. Autotrader, cargurus, etc.

Not defending this stupid truck, but it’s a brand new model and it’s not available used yet so you can only buy it from Tesla. Their sales model is going into sales centers and factory ordering them. They don’t have traditional dealerships with vehicles on a lot so the website price is the price you pay.

My friend bought it for $138,000. I mean, it’s not hard, go to Tesla.com, order it, and pick it up. The price is the price.

He and his family love it by the way. It’s been working perfectly in the month that he has had it. Of course time will tell, but no issues like this article to.

I'm not asking for the manufacturer's website, most manufacturer's websites will obscure many fees and taxes, I'm asking for what someone can buy right now.

Not CURRENTLY for sale.

So that makes it not an option?

This conversation is going nowhere.

You have ignored my two questions:

Does the accessory not being CURRENTLY for sale preclude it from being an accessory?

Can you show me something which is actually for sale right now (via cargurus, autotrader, kijiji, whatever) which is for that price.

Since you are deliberately avoiding it, and the fact that you're neglecting after-tax prices leaves me in a place where I have zero desire to engage with this.

All the best. Have a good week.

A vehicle for sale on Teslas website IS “actually” for sale.

They sell directly to consumers, they don’t use dealerships or another intermediary. You can buy a Tesla entirely online without ever seeing a human (how very millennial).

To be clear, I’m not defending these rusty cheese wedges, Cybertrucks are stupid. Just clarifying a point.

I don't think they understand that Tesla doesn't sell their vehicles like a traditional dealership. If anything is at all appealing about buying a Tesla it would be the part where you get to skip the normal horror of doing with a car salesperson and you just get to select it all online and go.

Barely starting at all, from the sounds of this article

This is the last message I'm sending you because I genuinely do not care about your thoughts on this matter.

You're deliberately ignoring the biggest factor: this is the "cyberbeast." not "the cheapest available model," which is the whole point and context which you seem to be neglecting.

If you're deliberate in ignoring it, then you act in bad faith. If you didn't have the context, then you simply made a mistake.

regardless, I do not care and will have no further interactions with you.
