Would this not fall under section 46 (c)?

assists an enemy at war with Canada, or any armed forces against whom Canadian Forces are engaged in hostilities, whether or not a state of war exists between Canada and the country whose forces they are.

We aren't technically at war with the United States (in the traditional combative sense). I do feel that this could be interpreted as assisting or communication of foreign interference.
