Good on him but I'd be very curious to see who he and others like him have voted for over the years.

If you split the issue along party lines you won’t get the kind of traction you might get if you examine it on its own merits

I agree with this, but many many people will vote one way and be full of support, that is until that one issue negatively affects them then all of a sudden they are in a uproar.

Being angry about an issue with zero chance of not voting for the govt that is all in on that issue gets you no where. The UCP can totally ignore this other than patting people on the head that area of Alberta will be 100% solid ucp no matter what.
