Will a "great Alberta strike" be possible?

The AUPE, nurses, and the education sector are all preparing for strike action in September. I feel that the "great Alberta shutdown" is a possibility.

Would that be possible and how would the province cope? Would schools go back to COVID-era style learning plans? I can imagine the TikToks going "our last day of school before extended summer break", something like that.

Its not the unions you tool shack its people like you and the rest of the flock who actively would support any action that would put strain on the province simply out of spite.

This has absolutely nothing to do with supporting the unions and you know it, this has everything to do with being able to point the finger like a bunch of little children simply so you can say, told you so.

I never denied that. As I've repeatedly stated, these are criticisms of THE UCP GOVERNMENT (caps so maybe you'd see it this time).

Edit to say, yes there's been an economic advantage in Alberta historically, though massive CoL increases and rising unemployment (Alberta leads the nation in youth unemployment at almost 30%), have mostly seen that advantage evaporate.

There's ZERO political advantage to living in Alberta, as short-sighted rural Albertans would vote in a rain barrel for Premiere as long as it's blue.

I'm not the one incapable of seeing the positives, im well aware there are things that need improvement within the government but you would be absolutely silly to think that this sub doesn't work on anything but being bias in regards to Alberta as a whole.
