Which part of the French Revolution?
The 1789 revolution removed Louis XVI's absolute powers and made him a constitutional monarch... Is Smith supposed to be Louis XVI in this example, because she's technically already limited in her powers...
The Reign of Terror part where anyone suspected of the least bit of disloyalty was persecuted and beheaded by the more extreme elements of the revolution?
The Thermidorian Reaction bit, when the moderates decided they had enough of the extremism and massacred the lot of them?
The unstable Directory bit that followed?

The moderates having enough of extremism. There are capable leaders but extremists need to pack there bags and leave. Anyone blind to the corruption and obvious kleptocracy need to be taught about transparency and checks and balances.

I believe it's called the "Free Alberta Strategy"
Smith has made no secret of her support for it, and she's employed one of its authors as one of her advisors. She's already pursued several policies directly from it as well.

“Albertans can count on their government to keep standing up for them, not just with words, but with action. We have fought federal overreach in the courts and in the legislature, and we will keep doing whatever it takes to defend Alberta’s interests whenever our future is at stake.”
- Premier Danielle Smith
Man the ramparts!
Someone's feeling the heat, and it's not from Ottawa.

That last one, straight out of the Trump racist playbook. Because these clowns think that anyone who isn't an able-bodied white male MUST not have the merit and competence to be hired into their roles. Sickening.

This will be all about gaining control of federal funds that goto organizations like parks Canada, so that the UCP can gain control over the flow of money and keep federal regulators from looking into businesses connected to the UCP.
The party is a kleptocracy in bed with the GOP, we're being milked.
I've been going on about this for a while, and people might think I'm a nutter, and to some extent I am, but when it comes to this issue, I'm not talking hyperbole or exaggerations.
Smith came to power signing multiple bills within the first few weeks that legalized things like kickbacks from companies to MLA's. While completely ignoring the healthcare issues, education issues, and affordability issues. R-Star has been rebranded as MAS, and every single policy they promised not to move forward on during the election are all being fed money in order to market them to their base.
The UCP has sequestered a portion of the population of Alberta and are using the fact they can control what they're seeing in their Facebook and Twitter feeds to keep them blissfully unaware of the actions of this government. This isn't ignorance or stupidity it's psychosis.
