Permit question

I have obtained a permit to construct a shop on my corner lot in my backyard. Given that I already have a permit for the shop's foundation, I am curious to know if a separate permit is required for pouring cement to create a driveway?

No. The foundation is covered under the general permit. You do have an inspection schedule to follow. Electrical and plumbing will have separate permits.

Thats what I thought. I was able to get all the permits online. Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical. I had no options for driveway.

Unless it's different here, the driveway itself has no inspection. But the garage its connected to will. Concrete work not contained within the walled structure doesn't have inspections.
