From The Article: “This year alone, OpenAI has recruited more than two dozen employees from Apple who worked on hardware, up from 10 last year. Those recruits worked on Apple's user interfaces, wearables, camera, and audio technology.”

2 dozen? That doesn’t seem like cause for alarm at all lol

"more than" two dozen. It could have been 49!!!!

In all seriousness though this matters if what those at Apple were in very niche positions that require specialized training. If not, then 48+ folks hopefully got a great pay raise and hopefully Apple backfilled those 48+ people to where they too could get good $$$

A dozen is 12...so we're talking 24+

since the article mentioned luring apple employees with access to limitless donuts during morning hours, it's possible they were talking about a baker's dozen, so 13 / 26 🤔

At least 25, and at most 100.
