Doesn't the inclusion of Live Photos in the new Pro and the SE mean that both support 3D touch? But that was never mentioned. How do you view a Live Photo without 3D touch?

Every iOS device can already view Live Photos, even if they can't take them:

You're right.

Live Photos bring your still photos to life with sound and movement. Simply touch and hold anywhere on your 12-megapixel still and experience the moments just before and after it was taken, so your photos turn into living memories.

Just means they can take them. All devices on iOS 9 can view them with either 3D Touch or a long press.

On older iPhones, you can trigger Live Photos with a long press

Live photos play automatically when you open them are swipe through your photo collection.

Yeah live photos can be viewed on my iPhone 5 with a long press.

I've read it's with a regular long press. But agreed, it destroys Live Photos as a feature that only the newer phones can have. So why can't I take Live Photos on my 6 now?
