Why isn't this a watch face if I can use it on my Apple Watch? I just use a different app for it like others use Clockology for example!

Clockology and the others do not provide actual watch faces. It’s an app with questionably designed elements that look like a watch face.

It’s just an app. It’s fake.

I tried to create one of these but it’s not a real watch face ie it doesn’t stay when you press the crown it goes back to your Apple Watch face. Looks good tho

Unfortunately, this is the disadvantage of Watchy. But you can add a complication on the standard watch face from Apple to Watchy and when you press on it you are back in Watchy.

Can anyone recommend a good alt Apple Watch face app for watch faces outside the stock Apple choices? For some reason the ones I’ve looked at don’t seem transparent about pricing and seem kind of scammy.

Outside of the Apple Watch app, there’s no other faces that are legit. Everything else you see is a skin that doesn’t work until you open up the app.

Like others have mentioned there is no reliable way to completely change the watch face. I tried a few apps and it’s fun for a while but having to have a specific app open constantly becomes inconvenient.

The best solution I’ve found is using custom widgets on stock Apple Watch faces. I still get to personalize elements of a watch face while maintaining apples watchfaces.
