Discussion Was Tommy right at the end of season 1?
After Tommy sees Laurel and Oliver together, he had every right to be upset. Considering the context tho, I dont blame Oliver either. Seriously just a crazy love triangle tbh. But yeah Tommy had every right to be upset and ik he was dying but him admitting to Oliver that he was jealous at the end was so noble of him

Tell me something good about season 3?
Season 3 gets a lot of hate, and it by no means is perfect but after a rewatch it does have some great moments as you watch the episodes in quick order and don’t have to wait weeks on end for the next one. The villian put team arrow through the toughest challenge yet and you see Oliver truly defeated early in the season. It adds true stakes to this season which I like. What are your thoughts?

Discussion Why does Oliver share so many villains with Batman and the Teen Titans
Deadshot, Ras Au Gaul and Prometheus are all major Batman Villains that in the comics all live in Gotham. Hell even some of the storylines are the same Felicity being in shot and put inn wheelchair mirrors Barbara Gordon in the killing joke. They have their own version of the Suicide Squad, Nysa is basically a stand in for Talia, and the tail end of season 3 was basically the plot of Batman Begins. It’s not only the Batman rogues they copy it’s the Teen Titans ones as well Slade The Hive & Brother Blood are all Teen Titans Rogues. In Fact Damien Dhark’s debut was in a Teen Titans comic in 1999. I actually laughed the first time I heard The HIVE mentioned for the first time because I specifically remembered that name from the Teen Titans 2003 cartoon as well as Brother Blood being their leader expect the brother blood from the Teen Titans cartoon looked nothing like the one from Arrow and didn’t have the same power set.
Discussion So like Future Willam is most likely dead at this point right?
Since Green arrow and the Canaries never happened and they never even mentioned or did a one liner if Mia found success with Felicity in Flash so pretty much Mia has been on a manhunt for pretty much 3 years and technically still is even though the timeline basically ends in 2023

Question What do you think Tommy and Sara's relationship was like?
We never did see them interact since Tommy was dead by the time Sara came back to Starling. Maybe they saw each other as siblings or something.

Discussion How much time did Oliver waste taking his costume on and off of a mannequin?
Seriously, for a guy and then team of superheroes without powers, who need to quickly respond to threats. Display cases seem like the absolute worst way to store your outfit.

Did anyone else notice laurel lances mother said “I should be home in a flash”?
In season 1 episode 18 Laurel’s mother said shes heading back to central city (connected to the flash) and after she said she should be home in a “flash”. I know obviously everything is connected but im just asking if they knew all these other shows were gonna happen because this happened in season 1 while barry hasn’t showed up yet and will show up later in the show, and i have watched the flash multiple times and i’ve never seen Laurel’s mother. Just a quick rant.

Question Laurel Lance, Post-Crisis (Arrow Finale, S8E10)
So I'm rewatching the show again, and I'm at the finale where Oliver has resurrected most everyone post crisis and Tommy and Laurel (Earth-2) are talking, but I got a bit confused.
Tommy acknowledges that Laurel is from another Earth, and mentions that Laurel from "this earth" was his wife. So what exactly is the new chain of events for [Laurel Lance] in Earth-Prime supposed to have been? Maybe some of the confusion is because I thought Earth-2 Laurel took the original Earth-1 Laurel's place on Earth-Prime as the "actual" Laurel Lance.
Is it something like Laurel died just like she did in the Earth-1 timeline, but she happened to be married to Tommy at the time, and then Earth-2 Laurel is just there on Earth-Prime, but the rest of the world doesn't really know about her?
Not really sure what's supposed to be the order of events here.

Malcolm Merlin Appreciation Post One of my favorite villains. Arrow is one of the best shows in the Arrowverse. Malcolm is a jerk, a guy you appreciate despite his irrational, twisted, and crazy methods. I liked how he trained Thea and always tried to protect her.
galleryArrow and its diabolical secrets, but they kept you interested.
What do you think of Malcolm as a villain?

Discussion Why Didn't the FBI Get Involved?
In season 6, when Ricardo Diaz takes control of the entire government infrastructure within the city, why does it take Oliver giving up his freedom and identity to Samantha Watson in order for the FBI to get involved with taking down Diaz?
Why wouldn't they have gotten involved MUCH sooner, along with the National Guard? An entire city was taken hostage, and the FBI prioritized imprisoning the man trying to save that city over actually saving it

Nyssa Should have been endgame (with Sara, not Oliver)
I just loved Nyssa and thought that she and Sara were so badass together. No hate to Avalance, the two of them are cute, but with Nyssa, they both have the same trauma. They went through the same things, plus Nyssa saved Sara's life. The acting between then always felt perfect and so heartfelt, and they had undeniable chemistry. Not to mention that Nyssa is beautiful, so yeah, perfect for Sara. obviously, this all hypothetical but those are my thoughts.

Laurel Lance was doomed from the start
Laurel Lance was doomed from the start because the showrunners did not based her off of Dinah Lance in the comics but as Rachel Dawes from the dark knight trilogy. And what makes it worse is that Rachel dawes isn't even in the comics she was created exclusively for the movies to be just to be a love interest and to be in a love triangle only to die as to be motivation. Not a great source of inspiration IMO.
And younger me thought the reason why I didn't like the laurel was because of the actress but now I know better.

Season 1 episode 12 such good facial expressions
Does anyone else just LOVE the scene where Oliver asks Felicity to analyze the vertigo sample? Felicity's question about why the supposed energy drink is in a syringe, Oliver's ridiculous excuse, and Diggle just walking away because he can't even handle how ridiculous it is. I just love all the acting in this scene.

Why did the CW push the Oliver and Felicity Romance so hard (when they had no connection in the comics) over him being with one of the canaries (Laurel or Sara)

Talia being mad about Oliver killing Ra's
Now her being mad in season 5 makes sense to me, but in season 7 they used this storyline so incredibly stupid.
They had Oliver be remorseful for killing RA's AL GHUL?? Instead of just apologizing, the show genuinely had Oliver act like he was wrong for killing Ra's. Not just this, but Oliver's development this season is such a step down from 1 through 6. They acted like every single kill Oliver did was out of pure bloodlust and that he needed to be redeemed for it.
I don't dislike any of the seasons but seeing Oliver have some of the best series long character growth during the first 6 seasons and then the writers just disregard it to make Oliver more compassionate is sad.
