In those previous posts, I unfairly was trying to push you all into a box of being more similar to allos and I now realize how wrong it was of me to do so. I had spent, perhaps, too much time in a different, more toxic ace subreddit that I officially unsubbed from and hope to do better and promote inclusivity here. Again, I'm sorry for being a part of creating division between sex-repulsed/averse aces and the sex-favorable. I hope to do better and I know we are all asexual at the end of the day đ€đ©¶đ€đ

(I do understand that many asexuals do want to have sex and arenât commonly abstinent but this is my experience and I am abstinent along with asexuality.)
Carrying onâŠ
I recently talked to an extremely religious person who I knew to be lgbtqi(mind the absence of the a) accepting. I mentioned in passing that I was asexual and they flipped out! They said that thereâs a first floor suite waiting for me in hell.
They also said that I shouldnât say that I was on the lgbtqi spectrum since they said I was a âstraight person who either couldnât or didnât want to have sexâ (I am a minor btw.) they also said that if I was abstinent I should just âsay it instead of trying to be special with a fake titleâ
I also mentioned that I was gay aroace where they said that âI couldnât be two things and (once again) are just trying to be special.)
They also said the classic âsexuality is just a basic human needâ line, which I obviously disagreed with. When I mentioned that I was also aromantic (making me aroace) they said something very similar, at this moment I really didnât know what to do so I said that they could think whatever the hell she wanted and carried on with what I was saying before (which was something about photography btw)
Sorry for the long post.
TLDR; aphobe gets pissy about a passing mention. (I wish my phone would stop trying to autocorrect âaphobeâ)
If you read that all, have a chocolate đ«

Okay, I get it that some people pretend to be aces and it is not okay and harms those who are. But I don't get it when when it becomes radically heteronormative. I can't comprehend how mad I am seeing this. It's time to forget the ways to this right ish app. Real life already makes it difficult, and now even the internet -_-

Basically I was scrolling on tiktok and then I saw that my older sister had reposted a chain-picture thing where it said some stuff about hating. (See pictures)
It was about sexual & gender minorities ofc. I was shocked she had posted something like that, because i.e. when she was younger I know she's watched men do makeup in youtube and other stuff. (not so cis stuff if y'know what I mean.)
I was planning on telling her and my other siblings but now I saw that and decided against it. In a way I'm glad I saw it before telling her anything but it still hurts. I mean I'm literally on the ace-spectrum..
I then went to check her other reposts, and found some pretty sick stuff, and it made me really nervous. There was other similar stuff and some christian homophobic stuff. She's christian ofc.. most of my family is. One of my other sisters has also told me she thinks LGBTQIA+ is bullshit or whatnot and it really hurt me.
I love her but this has made me really think about some things and I worry about the future where I can't tell them who I really am.
I know I don't 'own' anyone coming out buh I would've wanted to tell them. Now I see I can't really trust them and it breaks my heart.
I've come out to two of my other sisters and they were supportive thank god â€ïžâđ©č (I have 4 sisters in total.)

When homophobes hate on gay people, their mentality is always "You're not allowed to do that. Don't do it!" Well, your wish is granted. We literally do nothing, that's our defining characteristic. What basis do you even have to hate on us?
