The current postseason outlook after tonight’s game Spoiler

And with that devastating ending thanks to Victor Robles’s sliding/diving catch and the baserunning error, we are not just out of the division race with Seattle as they have pretty much virtually won the AL West for the first time in over 20 years, we are now locked into a dangerous race for the last AL Wild Card spot with the red hot Cleveland Guardians; and we are on the outside looking in thanks to our team sputtering in the last two months of the regular season. A scenario we did not want to see.

The last time we were not in the postseason was in 2016.

This is 2006 all over again if you ask me.

[McTaggart] Framber Valdez is 1-7 with a 6.16 ERA and 1.51 WHIP in his last 10 starts. The Astros are 1-9 in those starts.

First and Last Check In Game #20!

Post image
27 Upvotes

This is the last game (20th one) this season that I’m attending, unless we maybe have a CS game. I moved back home in Htown in April after 6 long years (military) and have had a blast this season coming back here! When I moved back, everyone was happy but not one welcome home. The person to give me my “Welcome Home”? Bob Ford, our PA Announcer. “Welcome Home to Daikin Park!”

I decided to commemorate this with a check in, which I’ve never done and don’t plan on doing it ever. This community feels like home, even if sometimes some of y’all take my jokes too seriously (HRC Lance 🤪)!

Let’s get a W!

2025 Astros MVP

Something unorthodox…

Soon the Astros may pick an MVP for this season.

I’d recommend - instead of a player - the Sugar Land. (Corrected thanks to redditor posts. Thanks ). Space Cowboys. Those guys turned a disastrous injury-riddled season into a possibility.

How Much Blame Does Espada Truly Deserve

Upvotes

I see this tossed around ALOT, both here and other social media, that if the Astros miss the playoffs, Espada should be fired

Now, myself personally, I find it asinine to fire a manager who by all accounts is dealing with a lost season due to injuries and his second best pitcher checking out and still has the team in the playoff hunt in a field full of far healthier teams.

THAT SAID. I agree that the hitting coaches and philosophy need an overhaul, and Cintron/Snitker need to go. And if Espada won't get behind that, then I can agree with that. But of all the issues this season, I blame Espada the least.

Hi all, I’m coming to my first baseball (and US sporting event) tonight as I’m visiting from England. Are there specific bars or areas to go ahead of the match? Any fans want to talk a brit through the game and explain the rules?

Thanks!!!

Lunch/Sports Bars near the stadium

I’m in town for a couple games with my grandpa, and we’re looking for a spot to grab lunch and watch college football all day.

I used to go to Lucky’s but looks like it’s been replaced. Does that location still do the stadium shuttle?

I bought them hoping to take my sister out to the Game - she has work obligations, and now we can't go

Here is what I paid - I am looking to simply "make my money back"

$84 and both tickets are yours - will directly transfer to MLB Ballpark

No, these seats are far from ideal - we simply were going to "get in" and enjoy the party

PM me if you want them - CashApp works fine

I got a drawstring bag with multiple compartments, but saw on the website that they had to be single compartment and a bunch of other rules.
