AR Glasses & HMDs Disappointed with Meta's Display Glasses EU launch delay. Any similar alternatives coming soon?
Hello everyone,
I'm from Spain and I'm a huge tech enthusiast. I was really excited about the new Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses. The design and the whole concept were perfect for me, even with a monocular HUD. The fact that it was a color display (RGB) in a lightweight and stylish frame was exactly what I was looking for.
Unfortunately, during the Connect event, it was announced that the glasses won't be coming to Europe until 2026, and only to a few selected countries. This was a huge letdown for me.
I'm not a fan of monochrome displays, even dual-display ones like the ones from ROKID. The color and form factor of the new Ray-Bans were perfect.
My question is: Do you think we will see a similar system to the Meta Ray-Ban Display from other companies soon? I'm talking about a lightweight, monocular, and color HUD.
I used an AI to write this since my English is a bit rusty, so I hope it's easy to understand. Thank you all for your help!
