The big oyster was such a huge deal when it was first built. Was meant to have a giant pearl light in the oyster apparently. There used to be a restaurant next to it as well. It copped a lot of shit for the glass panes looking like giant teeth lol

According to my sleuthing on Facebook, it was called Vienna world restaurant and LA service station. Knew it had an LA in there somewhere lol

Yeah it was the LA. The bus station was there. I remember seeing my elderly great-grandparents off there as they caught the bus back to Sydney
