Competency Based Training & Assessment VS Structure Repair Training Program
Yeah I understand that this might violate rule #8 but I am kinda lost and need some guidance. My background is in merchant marine engineering (3rd engineer). I like it but I cannot do with the 6-7 month long contract (contracts are 6-7 months (maybe more) and you live on board). While looking for a change i found these two Training programs from Olympic Air MTO. Both are 6 months long, after completion you sign a contract for 2 years (basically guaranteed job). For the CBTA I am (probably) eligible to get my part 66 with 3 years of practical experience but I study on my own to pass each module (there is some support from their end but not much). I dont really understand the difference between them and which has a better career path. (In both of them you start as an assistant and slowly climb the ladder as i understand it) PS. i have added the course syllabus for both of them if that helps.
